The Technical University of Kenya and Universiti Putra Malaysia are exploring potential collaboration to strengthen academic and research ties between the two institutions. The proposed partnership will be carried out through various joint activities such as student and researcher exchanges, study trips, collaborative courses and projects, as well as workshops, seminars, and conferences.
These efforts are intended to enhance mutual learning, innovation, and long-term cooperation, with formal implementation expected upon the signing of an official agreement in the near future. TU-K’s DVC in charge of Institutional Advancement and Enterprise, Prof. Paul Wambua and Universiti Putra Malaysia DVC - Academic and International, Prof. Dr. Abd Rahim Abu Talib signed a Letter of Intent for the collaboration on behalf of the two institutions.
