Engineers’ Society to Collaborate with TU-K in Research

The Kenya Society of Environmental, Biological and Agricultural Engineers (KeSEBAE) is seeking to collaborate with the Technical University of Kenya in areas of research and advocacy. Members of the society who were led by the Chairman Eng. Prof. Lawrence Gumbe, met the university management led by DVC Institutional Advancement and Enterprise Prof. Paul Wambua to deliberate on the collaboration.

The Executive Dean, Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, Prof. Edwin Ataro, Director School of Civil and Resource Engineering and Director, School of Chemical and Biological Systems Engineering Prof. Cleophas Maende attended the meeting.

KeSEBAE is a society of engineering dedicated to advancement of science and art engineering in the environment, food, energy and water.

The society has in the past three decades organised annual conferences to facilitate exchange of knowledge and experience among practitioners, researchers, policy makers and the public.

The society publishes a peer review journal dubbed ‘Journal of Engineering in Agriculture and Environment (JEAE).
