Dr SELINA NANCY AYOMA ONYANGO Chairperson, Department of Hospitality and Human Ecology (DHHE)

Dr. Onyango-Omollo is the Chairperson of the Department of Hospitality and Human Ecology. She holds a PhD in Human Nutrition and Master of Science in Applied Human Nutrition from the University of Nairobi and Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Family-Consumer Studies from Kenyatta University. She has 14 years’ experience in the field of Food Value Chains and Community Nutrition; and a registered Nutritionist with the Kenya Nutritionists and Dieticians Institute (KNDI) and is an accomplished educator, trainer, researcher and consultant with international exposure in the fields of food security and nutrition. In this respect, as an individual or member of project teams, she has been involved with a number of research and consultancy projects over the years. She has published and supervised students at postgraduate level.
