Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) Attains Official Registration by TVETA

Technical and Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) has licensed the Technical University of Kenya to offer various technical and vocational courses at the diploma level. This was affirmed in a letter addressed to TU-K’s Directorate of Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) by the TVETA Director General/ CEO, Dr. Kipkirui Langat

Under the provisions of the TVET Act, 2013, Section 20(1), TU-K underwent evaluation and met the licensing expectations and criteria. This accreditation affirms TU-K’s commitment to skilled-based training and innovation.

TU-K offers a diverse range of TVET programs across various disciplines, including engineering, information technology, business studies, health sciences, and more. With state-of-the-art facilities, experienced faculty, and strong industry partnerships, TU-K is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping Kenya’s workforce.

The registration and licensing process involved comprehensive assessments of TU-K’s infrastructure, curriculum, teaching methodologies, and student support services. TVETA’s endorsement validates TU-K’s compliance with national standards and its dedication to producing skilled professionals who contribute significantly to the country’s economic growth.

As part of the accreditation, TU-K will continue collaborating with industry leaders, employers, and local communities to ensure that its graduates are well-prepared for the demands of the job market. Prospective students can now pursue their passion for technical and vocational education at TU-K, confident in the knowledge that they are part of an institution that meets the highest standards set by TVETA.
