Partnership with Mama Lucy Hospital Opens up Industrial Learning Opportunities and Research

The Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) has inked a partnership deal with Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital (MLKH) to enhance students’ practical skills in the field of healthcare as well as engage in joint research endeavours. The MoU, signed by Prof. Paul Wambua, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Institutional Advancement and Enterprise (DVC-IAE) and Ms. Dorcas Kemunto, Board Chair at Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, focuses on Industrial-Based Learning (IBL) and clinical rotations for students from the School of Health and Biomedical Sciences.

TU-K Partners with Industry Players

The Technical University of Kenya has signed Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with institutions and market leaders locally and internationally in areas of research and innovation, technology transfer, student-staff mentorship programmes and joint supervision. The signed MoUs are in the areas of joint infrastructure development, environmental sustainability campaigns, resource mobilisation, community outreaches among others.

The Technical University of Kenya (TU-K) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Car and General (C&G) to foster collaboration and knowledge exchange. This is in areas of training, internship and job placements, joint innovative projects, and setting up a Center of Excellence.

The Technical University of Kenya in partnership with Exploring Visual Cultures will be hosting the 4th International Conference from November 27th to 29th, 2024 at the Edge Convention Centre, Nairobi. The theme of the conference is AI Media Innovations, Applications, Visual Culture, Challenges, and Future Trends. The call for papers is out and the deadline for submission of abstracts is on 31st May, 2024.
